If history is authored by the victors, then who are the authors of our news?
My biggest fear now is not what Orange Man will do next or whether the Dems will ever figure it out… it’s if the press can still be relied upon to provide the full perspective, rather than the one they see from their positions in the trenches on this side or that. Both the new media and legacy media landscapes are now either making everything look like sunshine and roses for Trumpo or doing everything in their power to rain on him and his DOGE parade. I didn’t go to JoUrNaliSM Sk00L, but last I checked the Fourth Estate is supposed to hold the powerful accountable, regardless if they crave those MAGA clicks or want to keep the Orange haters mad.
I, for one, am on the side of what’s best for America rather than telling the readers what they wanna hear. In the spirit of decoupling myself from the outrage machine, this piece of paper published on the Subs of Stack has been recorded in paper form.
